Men of the Woods
I grew up in the country of Sandy, Oregon. I’m a true city girl now but when I go home I love going to our woods, they are beautiful and filled with memories. But the woods will never be to me what they are to my brothers and Dad. My Dad grew up on this property and spent his youth in our woods. It’s hard to explain the connection my brothers have to the woods… I guess it’s where they go to feel at home.
During Christmas I went on walk through the woods with my brothers and Dad. The joke is how my brothers love to stand on things and have me take their photos. This photo was taken on their favorite tree. This is my family, this is their home, they are the Men of the Woods.
