you seem like a really knowledgeable portlander, and i'm moving here at the end of the month,was wondering if you had any suggestions on great places to live(i literally only have tomorrow to find my apartment), probably wasn't smart on my part. BUT-im excited to move and any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated! :)
Well I live in SE close to Belmont Hawthorne area an I LOVE IT! Great area, you can walk to so much cool stuff. But If I was going to live any other neighborhood it would be NE, like by Alberta or Mississippi. Love that area as well. Again everything is walking distance and great. Cheapest would most likely be North Portland. Stay on the east side, downtown area is over rated. On the east side, any thing over 60th is too far out of the city. I hope that helps, good luck, you’re going to love Portland.

I guess good things come in 3, I have my art show tonight, cover of the Portland Mercury came out today, AND I got “photo of the day” at fecal face dot com! What a day.
